About Cooper-Payne Tree Farms

Cooper-Payne Tree Farms & Landscapes specializes in specimen-quality trees, shrubs, cold hardy palms, desert plants and cold hardy bamboos. We are a full-service landscaping company that grows and collects many of the specimens we use in our projects. Located near Chapel Hill, North Carolina, just minutes off I-40, we are ideally situated to serve our growing client base from Southern New England to Northern Georgia.

Our plant selections include rare and unusual northern evergreens suited to the warmer areas of the South, cold hardy palms that thrive in colder climates, and mature clumps of collected giant bamboos.

We are well-known for our extensive work in tropical landscape design and installation in colder areas, as well as our beautiful Japanese garden designs.

We also specialize in heirloom landscape plants which we frequently in historic landscape restorations and renovations.

We're proud to be a part of the effort to restore the American Elm to the nation's landscape.

Our farm is approximately 35 miles from the Raleigh-Durham Airport. If you need airport pick up or information about local lodging, please call ahead for information.

We have space to accommodate our customers who prefer to travel by helicopter. Please call ahead for instructions.
